Steven Fletcher served in the Federal Cabinet for five years and as a Member of Parliament for four terms. During his time in Cabinet, he was the Minister of State for Democratic Reform and Minister of State (Transport). In the ladder role his responsibilities included Canada Post, Via Rail, CATSA. Steven shared responsibilities for the creation of the Building Canada Fund. A $40 billion national infrastructure program. He had direct responsibility for federal infrastructure investments in the prairie provinces. Steven served many cabinet committees including the Federal Treasury Board for 7 years. In government he also served in the ministry as Parliamentary Secretary for Health and in opposition as a shadow minister of Health. He has also ran once and was elected at the provincial level in Manitoba. Steven is a professional engineer with an MBA. He is a member of the Queens Privy Council.
